[FMC] FM on campus?

Hi, everyone -

 

We are looking to open a FM on campus at SJSU.  Running into tons of
institutional obstacles, particularly in regard to administrators' concerns
about insurance, liability, etc. Even though the farmers all carry their own
liability, that does not seem to be enough to assuage the powers that be.
Any insight into how others have handled these questions, or resources to
look into, would be appreciated.  Also, general ideas about how others have
gone about developing support from campus decision makers, and what
arrangements are working for you - for instance, weekly markets vs. once a
month "special event" type markets, or whether others have incorporated
CSA's into on-campus FMs.
